| Page 9: In the bunker, the villains see a man tied to a chair, gagged and blindfolded with a lead-lined blindfold. He has military-short dark hair, wears military fatigues, and seems to be trying to hear everything. This is CAPTAIN SEEMORE, leader of the S.T.A.R.S. superteam. All but Termína are startled. TERMÍNA: THE S.T.A.R.S. USUALLY HAVE THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE. BY TAKING THEIR LEADER AS OUR PRISONER, I AM BRINGING THEM TO US. THERE'S NO SURPRISE BECAUSE WE KNOW THEY WILL BE COMING. AND WITHOUT THEIR LEADER, THEY'LL BE OFF-BALANCE AND LESS ORGANIZED. WE'LL HAVE TIME TO SUBDUE THE S.T.A.R.S. TEAM BEFORE THE S.T.R.I.P.E.S. TEAM HAS TIME TO ARRIVE, AS THEY USUALLY DO. No one questions how Termína was able to capture Captain Seemore because her reputation as a cold, calculating killing machine is legendary. EQUILIBRIUM: AND WHAT ABOUT SEEMORE? Termína gives a sideways look toward Fastbreak. She's testing her. TERMÍNA: WHILE THE REST OF US HOLD OFF THE S.T.R.I.P.E.S., FASTBREAK WILL TAKE HIM OUT AND PUT HIM ON DISPLAY. FASTBREAK: NO. GET SOMEONE ELSE. TERMÍNA: YOU'RE THE FASTEST OF US. WE NEED YOUR SPEED. FASTBREAK: I'M A THIEF, NOT AN ASSASSIN. I TAKE THINGS OF VALUE. NOT LIVES. Termína's eyes cast down as she says: TERMÍNA: VERY WELL. SPREADFIRE WILL TAKE CARE OF SEEMORE WHILE WE DEAL WITH THE S.T.R.I.P.E.S. EVERYONE TAKE YOUR POSITIONS. THE S.T.A.R.S.
